Job Description



  • Installation of Access Control and CCTV systems using ladders and hand tools
  • Must be comfortable working LAN, including routers, switches, and other networking devices
  • Service and installation of manual and automatic entry doors and hardware
  • Troubleshoot and repair access control systems, power supplies, card readers, etc.
  • Locksmith installations including mag locks, electric strikes, and other low voltage systems
  • Running wire through attics and crawl spaces to install all necessary devices
  • Communicate with customers before, during, and after the installation process in regards to schedule changes, delays, RFI’s, and systems testing
  • Maintain and submit accurate paperwork and documentation
  • Attend organizational meetings
  • Manage time and meet time-sensitive deadlines
  • Always provide excellent customer service
  • Work independently or within a team on daily tasks and projects
  • Employee is responsible for providing their own hand tools; speciality tools will be provided

Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of CCTV and Access Control Installation experience highly preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency with cloud-based operating systems and LAN processes
  • Willingness to follow rotational on-call schedule for days, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Clean background check, driving record, and able to pass a drug test
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical door hardware
  • Ability to lift/maneuver 80lbs
  • Ability to take direction and follow-through to find a resolution
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate organizational skills are a must
  • Perform other duties as required
