Job Description
Responsibilities
- Commercial and residential locksmith work to include rekeying, door hardware installation, master keying commercial cylinders, etc.
- Service and installation of exit devices, door closers, keyless entry, and vertical rod devices
- Safe service and installation experience a plus
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after the installation process in regards to schedule changes, delays, and hardware testing
- Working knowledge of computers, tablets, and smart phone devices
- Maintain and submit accurate paperwork and documentation
- Attend organizational meetings
- Manage time and meet time sensitive deadlines
- Always provide excellent customer service
- Work independently or within a team on daily tasks and projects
- Employee is responsible for providing their own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of commercial locksmith experience, safe service and installation experience a plus
- Master keying, impressions, and basic mechanical knowledge
- Willingness to follow rotational on-call schedule for days, nights, and weekends
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Clean background check, driving record, and able to pass a drug test
- Basic knowledge of mechanical door hardware
- Ability to lift/maneuver 80lbs
- Ability to take direction and follow-through to find a resolution
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate organizational skills are a must
- Perform other duties as required
